What is Love ?
What do you look for to love.
Does love mean to sacrifice your happiness for the person you love in every aspect ?
Is it love when you keep giving and never receiving? Can you say you love someone without depending on their provisions?
It’s easy to say I love him or I love her .
I can’t live without him or her, because it’s a cruel world out there, so cold it could make you afraid of your own voice. But is it the person you won’t be able to live without or their provisions, security, assurance, assistance, their time and effort that goes in everyday to ensure that you are well taken care off, irrespective of their circumstances or difficulties.
Did you ever think about the meaning of the word LOVE and if you’ve been fulfilling its purpose or just expecting too much from your partner and never had the thought cross your mind if you’re being oblivious of their efforts.
Are you in love by the things they do for you and get carried away and think that’s love .
Do you think love means only to gain material things as a way to express feelings and affection towards you ?
Love is not when you miss someone because of fulfilling your desires.
Love is when you feel sad, empty, have no liss to do anything because that person isn’t in your presence and you genuinely miss them.
Love is when your heart is not at ease until you hear his or her voice and know that everything is okay.
Love is when you respect your partner in public as well as behind doors, understanding his/ her feelings, decisions and not jumping to any conclusions.
Love is not only to engage in worldly activities and forget our abode in the hereafter.
Love is when both partners remind each other of Allah Ta’ala on a daily basis. When advising, they advice in a way that makes them Allah consciousness and never lose trust in the beauty of Islam and its way of life.
Love is when you want to be with your partner in Jannah and express it with him / her often.
Think about it, look at your life, ponder over it, decide what LOVE truly means to you and think where it all went wrong or what misunderstandings you had.
