Be Comfortable In Your Perfect Imperfection
Be comfortable in your own skin, embrace every limb and feature of your body. Whether you’re short or tall, slim or healthy, fair or dark, successful or struggling. Whatever it is, you should be unapologetically yourself.Comfortable in your perfect imperfection.
Remind yourself that you’re beautiful the way you are. Don’t look into the mirror with hatred, or with embarrassment. But look into the mirror with acceptance, gratitude and admiration.
Allah Ta’ala gave you a tongue, a mute person also has a tongue, he has jaws and lips like you. But look at the great favour of Allah Ta’ala for giving you the ability to speak and He ( Allah) certainly can snatch that gift from you at any given moment.
Ponder over every limb in your body, people who have disabilities, who are scarred for life, who are dependent on someone else to take care of them and then ask yourself if you’re not lucky enough to have every limb in your body functioning 100%.
Society can be criticizing, judgemental on every aspect relating to your life and yourself.You cannot and will not please everyone because someone will always find faults in you no matter how perfect you think you are. By making decisions that benefits your life in a good way, will anger someone else and thats life. You have to accept it. You have to learn to understand that no one will ever be happy for you the way you expect them to be.
Your attitude and philosophy towards life depends on the story you are creating in your mind.If you undermine yourself, you will never understand your values and fully appreciate yourself.Never undermine Allah, He did not create anything in vain and without a purpose.
من عرف نفسه فقد عرف ربه
{The person who recognizes his self has certainly recognized his Rabb- Creator}
Your wellbeing is your responsibility.No one pays your bills, clothes you, provides any necessities, so why care about their opinions?
The only thing standing between you and your goals is the bullshit you keep feeding your mind as to why you can’t achieve it.
It’s you allowing yourself to let the criticism become infested in your head and it becomes almost impossible to cure due to lack of understanding your worth and living a life of expectations.
You will remain a puppet in this world if you continue to allow people to take control of your life, dancing to their tunes, allowing them to decide which strings to pull in order for you to make a move.
When you reflect and ponder, you will receive numerous benefits and wisdom. The more you reflect over yourself, the more you will recognize Allah Ta’ala.
Remember this sinful slave in your duas inshaAllah.
