Marrying A Revert

Marrying A Revert or when you meet someone who fits the criteria of a husband/wife.
Falling in love didn’t take much time Alhumdulillah , marriage was discussed and agreed by both families.

The one who isn’t Deeni inclined (Islamic environment) agrees to become a Muslim Alhumdulillah and graciously accepted to learn everything about our beautiful religion.

In the beginning the intention was made to teach the spouse about Islam but as the days, months and sometimes years passed things started changing.

Spending time with their family made you lose interest in bringing your spouse onto Deen(Islamic environment).
You gradually adopt the habits and behavior of the kuffar ان لله وان اليه راجعون.

The appearance, the speech, the approach, is now imitated in the western way and the hayaa is slowly being lost… Ya Rabb save us from such calamities/situations.

The spouse who isn’t on Deen doesn’t seem to have any issues with how you’re behaving because he/she can see how well you’re adapting to the lifestyle of their previous religion, so there’s no questioning regarding that because now both spouses are comfortable with the religion / the culture / the manner in which they are entertained, and participating in all sorts of activities which is forbidden in Islam.

The guilt has never crossed either ones mind because of the enjoyment they getting and not being in the right environment and in the right company.

A poet says : “The companionship of a righteous person will make you righteous. Similarly, the company of a wretched person will make you wretched. The person who desires the close proximity of Allah Ta’ala will have to sit in the company of Allah’s friends. The one who stays aloof from them has in fact become aloof from Allah Ta’ala. A little while in the company of His friends is better than a thousand year’s worship which was done without ostentation.
A single moment’s company with the pious is better than a hundred year’s abstinence and worship.

In this era it’s extremely important to safeguard one’s imaan.
A person can easily be swept of their feet by the glitz and glamor of this world and not think of the consequences until it’s too late.
You can have fun and be involved in all sorts activities but losing your Hayaa( modesty) and Imaan is not something that needs to be sacrificed for a temporary pleasure.

You may enjoy all the haraam the Dunya has to offer now but think about what will happen to you in the qabr(grave) when you cannot answer three simple questions due to living a life that was against shariah and that’s just one example of what would happen in the qabr.

In a hadith something to the effect :
” Hayaa is an important branch of imaan.
The moment you lose your hayaa, you are letting your imaan go as well”

Think my respected readers of how you are living your life and what example are you setting for others, for your spouses, for your progeny, etc.
Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam said: something to the effect that “You are a Shepard of your flock (your wife and children) and you shall be questioned about them on the day of judgement”.

May Allah Ta’ala grant us all true understanding of Deen, help us remove the love of Dunya out of our hearts, grant us contentment and istiqaamat.
Remember this sinful slave in your duas InshaAllah.
