We have been inundated with messages, calls, emails, etc. about the many people who have been passing away.
We might have taken this pandemic very lightly and we became almost oblivious. But, after losing a loved one, a close friend, a relative or someone close to our hearts, it finally dawned on us that we have no choice but to be more cautious. We started taking whatever precautions necessary in order to protect and be protected.
What about our sanity though, our spirituality, our practice towards our faith, the very things that feed and nourish our souls?
Has realization that something is seriously amiss not dawned on us yet?
It's about time we reflected on ourselves and our lives and where exactly we are heading.
Now is as good a time as ever to take a good look at the path you treading!
This is more than just a virus!
This is a sign and a clear invitation to come closer to your Creator before it's too late.
Turn to Allah Ta'ala!
Make a concerted effort to discard your sins even if it’s a gradual process. Keep in mind that the more we sin, the more calamities will befall us.
Take note that the people who are passing away due to this virus are getting the death of a Martyr. SubhanaAllah!
Off course we will get emotional for the loss of a loved one, yet we cannot fail to realise that they have reached their final destination and they have left this world as a ‘Shaheed.’
Did you ever take a minute and imagine how you will die?
What state you will be in when you die?
This world is temporary. It's our testing ground…
Try and live in a manner that is most pleasing to Allah Ta'ala and not to your own desires, nor to the expectations of anyone.
Never lose hope in Allah Ta'ala!
Hold firm onto the rope of faith and never let anything or anyone create doubt in you about Allah.
Always remember that everything happens for a reason, there are no mistakes….. We have been put in certain situations for a purpose and there is always a solution to every problem.
Allah will never put you in a situation more than you can handle.
Our test is merely so that we gain closeness to our Creator!
Submit to the King of the Worlds, rectify your goals and book your space in Jannah.
Remember this sinful slave in your duas inshaAllah.
