Females deserve respect no matter their age, race, nationality, or the colour of their skin. They deserve compassion, love, understanding, and to be acknowledged as individuals with value and dignity.
For a male, this understanding begins from his toddler years—the love that his beloved mother showers upon him, the morals she instills, the discipline and upbringing from childhood to adulthood. These early lessons teach him to appreciate and respect other women in his life.
If a man cannot love and honour his mother or sister, how will he love his wife? How will he show compassion and treat her with fairness?
Let today be the turning point in your life. Your mother, your sister, your wife—they all deserve the best of you. And don’t forget your grandparents, those precious gems who hold a wealth of love and wisdom.
What you sow, you shall reap.
Love unconditionally.
Love has no rules.
Love has no price attached.
But love does have time attached—spend your time wisely.
If there is bitterness in her heart, perhaps your actions or neglect have planted it. From today, show her the real man you can be. Hug your mother, hug your sister, hug your wife, hug your grandparents and say:
“I love you today, tomorrow, and forever.”
You will experience a sweetness in life you have never known—a serenity and contentment that will flood your days with goodness.
In our Islamic history, we see the greatest example in our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and how he honoured women. He stood up when his daughter Fāṭimah رضي الله عنها entered the room, kissed her forehead, and seated her beside him—a gesture of deep love and respect. He taught, “The best of you are those who are best to their women” (Tirmidhi). His marriages were filled with mutual respect, kindness, and understanding, setting the highest standard for how women should be treated.
Don’t wait for a special day to show your love. Do it today, tomorrow, and always.
