When a married couple has an argument, instead of one trying to end the argument, or remain silent. The total opposite occurs.
Both spouses are at each other’s throat, throwing nasty comments at each other, so many things being uttered and sometimes they leave home on a bad note /not on speaking terms.

Once they have calmed down, they realise whatever was said was a mistake, leaving them regretful. But remember when a glass is broken it’s impossible to put the pieces together.
Be wise when speaking in anger. Be cautious before spitting any harmful words which may have severe consequences later on.
It’s easy to forgive but difficult to forget.
Sometimes you maybe right now, but trying to convince your spouse and justify something when both of you are angry won’t have any benefit.
It would be adding more fuel to the fire.
It’s better to let one calm down and approach him /her once they have calmed down, then in a polite manner you can explain yourself and inshaAllah the spouse will realise his/her mistakes.
