We only got one life.. make it count!
Evrything around us is a perception of reality,
( what we see is not what is really out there, but a version of it, corrupted by our own receiving antennae, our own limited perception.)
Then reality is the dominant part of the massive accumulations of all theses perceptions
This world is merely an illusion, a perception of reality, a sleepers dream. A dream happens, but when we wake up, we understand it was not real. Life in a material body is like that – dream-like. We’ll realize that, if not before, then at the time of death.. when we “die ” we reawaken to this.. “reality”
O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).
Like the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another realm at death.
The outcome of that realm depends on the seeds we sow in this life. Allah says in the glorious Quran;
The present world is only an illusory pleasure: you are sure to be tested through your possessions and persons; you are sure to hear much that is hurtful from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with God. If you are steadfast and mindful of God that is the best course.” (Qur’an, 3:186)
Death can come at anytime …but how many of us actually taught about death and the passing over to the next . How many of us acknowledge it, but don’t realize It. This is reality. Whether we like it or not! Take a step back from that daily grind we call life and let’s make a concerted effort to realize this in our hearts. We all in this “school” of life and our final exam at the point of death, where our true imaan will be shown and that determines whether you pass with distinctions to the next realm or fail miserably and end up in the “prison” of jahanam. Islam is our, ( for the lack of a better word) our “insurance policy” that we “invest” in our hereafter. The more one strives in this world for Allah, the more his “interest” increases in the hereafter. This is a personal investment worth getting into.
Are we ready to face the results the day we die.. it begins at your grave, & YOU could be next! Let’s try our best to do our best and with the sincerest intentions for Allah alone!
