I'm sure I've got y'alls attention by now.
We spend so much of time browsing through Instagram, YouTube, all kinds of social media, or watch series upon series to pass time. But, have we ever pondered about our life, our faith.
We are muslims, but not just by name. We have responsibilities like every other religion.
We were created for a reason, we have a purpose in this world and that is not to enjoy the pleasures and forget about the objective of the life of this world.
Our existence, our provisions, possessions, success, is from Allah!
It is not by ourselves, it is not by other people. They are just a means for us to attain what we want, what we desire.
“They recognize the Grace of Allah, yet they deny it.”
{ Qur'an 16:83}
You fill yourself with delicious meals and cool water while the pleasure of good food and drink is impossible for some, due to sickness or poverty.
You have at your disposal a brain, two eyes, a tongue, two hands and two legs, which functions 100% Alhumdulillah, yet you remain ignorant of the ni'mats ( blessings of Allah).
Reflect on your powers of reasoning and remember those that suffer with mental ailments.
Islam is a beautiful religion and we as muslims need to come closer to our faith.
We need to bring back the Qur'an and Sunnah into our life.
The void we have in our heart can only be filled through the Remembrance of our Rabb.
The success of this life and the hereafter lies only in following the Sunnah of our Beloved Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam.
The beloved of Allah- Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam.
How much do we know about our beloved Prophet?
He spent six hours in the blazing desert making dua for us yet, we don't make time to learn about Him, about His life.
We would rather spend time drooling, dreaming, desiring for someone who not only isn't aware of our existence but we play no vital role in their lives and still we are ignorant enough to follow these people.
We are so clued about the temporary pleasures of this world and clueless about the hereafter, about a person who has always remembered us in His duas and who will intercede for us inshaAllah.
What will it take for you to open your eyes and make a change,
What will it take for you to realise that you need to come closer to Allah,
What will it take for you to realise that ease will be granted to you when you make Quran and Sunnah your priority.
May Allah grant me taufeeq to practice on what I have mentioned and grant us all the ability to make a change and come onto the path of Deen before it is too late.
Remember this sinful slave in your duas inshaAllah.
