Sabr ( patience) is above and beyond just waiting for things to get better. Sabr has always been mistaken for just being patient while waiting for difficulties to ease. Yet…
Its about still saying Alhamdulillah, despite the challenges.
Sabr is not knowing the question nor the answer. But still going through the test with tawakkul.
Sabr is in the contentment you have even when you live from paycheque to paycheque.
Sabr is in the heart of a person that walks away, even if he is correct, for the sake of overall peace.
Sabr is not taking another biscuit so the next person can have another.
Its eating a little less so there’s enough to go around. Its about holding back your own hunger or need for another.
Sabr is being ill, but knowing all sicknesses come from Allah and your shifa lies with Him.
Sabr is life not turning out the way you wanted. But making the best of the life you do have.
Sabr is swallowing your pride, being the first to forgive, mending broken family ties just for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala.
Its still working hard every day, fighting for your rights where you need to, making the necessary changes in your life.
Its the beauty of knowing your duas will be answered, if not your way, then Allah’s way.
Sabr is being patient without becoming stagnant.
Sabr is an art ‘Of NOT’ dwelling on your issues
The reward of sabr is so immense not because you waited, But HOW you waited.
Sabr is not just knowing there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Its knowing that ALLAH is shining that light you seek.
May Allah Ta’ala grant us sabr and strength to deal with all that we don’t have control over.Ameen…
