Cyber Bullying
Cyber Bullying -Part 6
Sometimes you need to be alone.
“Not lonely, but to enjoy your free time being you and yourself”
Kayla could not complete the movie, she chickened out within 20 minutes.
She loved horror movies and the thrill it gave but watching it alone was no fun, especially going to sleep alone didn’t make it any better.
She became paranoid and ducked under the blanket because if she looked around the pitch black room, it would make her assume something is there and waiting to pounce on her.
Any slight noise would make Kayla run out the room as if a bear was on her ass.
Kayla : “Mara why, but why Kay”
“guess I have to listen to music to fall asleep cause all I can think about right now is a damn nun drenched in blood, staring at me”
She plugs the earphones, creates a playlist and listens to music until she falls asleep.
At the party :
Hailey rushed out of the restroom as soon as she was done posting on Kayla’s wall because she didn’t want her friends to become suspicious of her. She went to search for the girls and found them smoking hookah with a group of guys.
She joins in to let off steam and gets lost in the moment, trying not to feel guilty about anything.
The party doesn’t seem like it’s going to end anytime soon and the girls couldn’t stay any longer. They didn’t want to leave but had no choice because no one knew about their whereabouts and going home in a drunken state was not a good idea.
They leave the house party, decided to get something to eat, sober up a bit and then go to Naomi’s place for a sleepover.
Once they reached home, the girls were too exhausted to change into their pajamas, so they plop onto the bed, not bothered about how three people will fit on one bed. Within minutes they were out like a light.
Kayla was sound asleep, it was the only moment she had that would allow her to forget about everything for a little while.
What she didn’t realize is that whoever is trying to ruin her reputation, ruin her image is jealous of her, they feel intimidated because of something.
Every individual who experiences some sort of difficulty/hardship often think that there’s no chance of that situation getting better, no chance of finding a solution to solve the issue, they think there’s nothing left to work towards making that situation better than it was previously.
They give up, they lose hope, they lose faith, they lose focus on everything positive and become filled with negativity.
It made Kayla believe that she was at fault, that she deserved to endure such torture.
A peaceful night will turn into a devastating morning.
All hell is going to break loose when she logs into her account tomorrow.
As her for her friends, they were out cold.
Being intoxicated comes with consequences and that is waking up the next morning with a splitting headache which will make them laze all day, forgetting to go by Kayla and that’s when she’s going to need them most.
What’s worse is that their phones are off.
That’s going to put Kayla in panic mode, not knowing who else to talk to or what to do.
She would be afraid to tell her mother because she was warned not go onto that chat group again.
Ignoring the advice her mum gave, will have her regretting it the second she logs in.
To be continued.
