Money doesn’t buy happiness
“MATERIALISM CLOUDS THE VISION OF THOSE WITH A WEAK MIND”
A marriage is supposed to be about completing each other’s deen, growing together, supporting each other and prospering as a couple, but it has changed with time and has become a means of benefiting one person or the family and not both spouses, where money is the center of everything its seems like money will buy us happiness but no money doesn’t buy happiness .
Instead of looking for good qualities, personality, piety, modesty, the focus has turned to temporary pleasures like wealth, background, status, fame, appearance.
Basically it has become rife for being materialistic, a temporary pleasure /desire which will not benefit an individual in the long run.
Marriage has become an easy escape to the materialistic world and not for love.
Families pressurize their kids to find a partner, or force them to enter a home because of a certain benefit and fail to realise that they are pushing their child towards something that will not keep them happy if the intention is not fulfilling their deeni requirements but rather fulfilling their materialistic desires.
Insaan(human) has lost the plot so easily due to the influences of society.
We have forgotten that without deen, without Allah Ta’ala as our priority in life, there will never be any happiness or barakah in our lives.
It will continue to be miserable until we realise we’re going against what our beloved Nabi Sallallahu ‘Alayhi wasallam had advised us on.
When insaan keeps running towards worldly possessions, he will never be satisfied, but if he is content and makes the best of what he possesses, and thanks Allah Ta’ala daily, then he will see his life prospering.
Time is indeed a great ni’mat(gift ) that Allah Ta’ala has bestowed us with.
Value it, use it wisely.
Remember thus sinful slave in your duas inshaAllah
