Mother
May Allah Ta’ala guide us, be with us in all conditions and protect us more than a mother protects her baby.
May Allah Ta’ala grant the reader the best of both world’s and make the journey on this path easy and clear for you inshaAllah. Aameen.
” I LOOKED AT MY MOTHER AND FELT A HUGE WAVE OF LOVE FOR HER, I COULDN’T SPEAK EVEN WHEN SHE RETURNED MY GAZE AND ASKED IF I NEEDED ANYTHING”
A mother dissipates the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts when we are helpless in the wilderness life.
A mother is the one being who surpasses the love, care, and affection of anyone related to us. SubhanaAllah!, that is why Jannah lies under the feet of the mother.
Allah Ta’ala has bestowed many precious gifts upon us, however a mother is one of the unique gifts from Allah Ta’ala.
Those who are bestowed with this gift, don’t appreciate it and those who are deprived of this gift, feel it from the core of their hearts.
She is the embodiment of sacrifice and love, her love sees past flaws and imperfections.
No one can ever match the qualities of a mother.
From the time she fell pregnant, her concern and priority was her child.
When she gave birth, she had sleepless days and nights attending to us.
If we were injured, she would be at our rescue panicking with fear…
So much of love a mother has yet we are too ignorant to notice until it’s too late.
We get angry at certain things she does, the way she does it, the things she says repeatedly, and we don’t realize that we’ve been doing the same things from an infant until today, and our beloved mother did not react nor behave in the manner we do.
As we grow up, we tend to forget everything that she has done/sacrificed for us.
We become rebellious, we complain she nags, we don’t bother to have a conversation with her for at least few minutes just to show concern/interest on how she spent her day, or enquire if she needs anything.
We lose interest in caring for her, yet she never abandoned us, she never left us feeling incomplete.
We do things half heartedly, at times we even forget her existence when we become successful. We forget that behind all that success was a mother’s dua’s being answered SubhanaAllah.
Respecting our mother’s should be a priority as we were and always will be her priority.
Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said something to the effect that being bad and disobedient to one’s parents is considered to be amongst the major sins, alongside associating partners with Allah and false testimony. [Sahih Al-Bukhari]
When we were born, we were helpless and dependant on our mother. She was our only hope in that stage to assist and guide us.
Now that she’s aging, she forgets easily, she will need our assistance, love, care, affection, attention and needs us as a guide.
Now is the time to return that favour, throughout our lives she supported us, gave us her blessings, so it’s time for us to make her khidmat inshaAllah.
Remember this sinful slave in your duas InshaAllah.
